Making tapestries out of photographs...
One day as Carmen and I were talking while she was working on one of her needlepoint tapestries, we realized that since she could make a tapestry from any picture, why not one of my photographs. From that point on our joint venture began.
Since needlepoint tapestries take a long time to make we picked two photos to start. The first is a photo of a derelict row boat. This is a black-and-white which has been converted to five colors: black, white, and three shades of gray. It will measure 9" x 9" on 12-count interweave. We have not yet decided on a frame. The price, including shipping and frame ..........$2,500.00

Cape Cod Tapestry...
Another photograph currently being planned to be made into a needlepoint tapestry is a full color panoramic scene taken on Cape Cod. The tapestry will be 15.5" x 7" on 32-count silk gauze. Still in the planning stages, I am toying with the idea of using both silk gauze and 12-count cotton canvas for a totally new approach. Right now we are considering a price of $4,000.00.

If you are interested in this tapestry please contact me at 732 Studio & Gallery and I will begin work on this as soon as required. Please see our Terms page for additional pricing information.

The yacht above is just one of those things that was crying to have it's picture taken. It was taken at a marina on Long Island Sound.

This photo was taken at the Cape Code National Seashore. I'm sure it's a very recognizable landmark.

If you are interested in purchasing, or further information please contact Carmen at the 732 Studio & Gallery.
