I have taught numerous classes over the years and enjoy sharing with others. A friend gained during the course of teaching quilt classes asked me for help to adapt a wood carving into a quilt. I designed the picture to the proportions of a queen size quilt adding an original adaptation of the log cabin block which hangs off and down the sides of the bed. Adding color and depth to the design, this is what I came up with. Fabrics came from around the United States. There are hidden animals amongst the more noticeable larger animals (which are removable to care for the quilt). Once again, I have used impressionistic stitching to enhance the rendition. This quilt is not yet quilted but is available in a timely manner.
